1 final down

Final painting for 113b, the forest project. If I'm very honest, I'm so pleased with how this turned out, because it's so much more than what I thought I was capable of doing (vis. def. and environments not being my strong suit AT ALL) and I learned so much on this piece and it has given me confidence going forward.
Shoutouts to my amazing friends who critiqued me through this project and helped me make it better. <3

trees, forever

New semester! It took off so quickly I feel like I wasn't prepared for it, mentally at least. Getting better, just need lots of rest.

Lots of trees for Owen's class. Posting this to see how much better I get at drawing these by the end of semester.

Doodlebobs while TA'ing for Sheldon.

First animation for Chai's class.

And some story bits I have laying around.

Busy is the watchword.

moar sketchbook

I reached the 80 page minimum for the sketchbook! Now working on getting to 100 pages, I'm only 5 away. I think I'll go for 110 in the end. :D

Finally getting the hang of non-cartoon faces.

More from the program sketchbook

(This is Hodor the giraffe, who liked to lick walls)

I'm failing miserably at my summer break goal of working on perspective and environments. So...I guess that's what I'm gonna do in the 3 remaining weeks before school starts back up. Joy.

summertime arts

Summer is so busy! Here are some arts I've done so far.

A head study and a Ronnie doodle (an new header image).

And a few pages from my program sketchbook so far.

Hope summer is going good for everyone!

SUMMERRRR

This semester was so rad. I met a ton of awesome people and got into the program. So excited for next semester!

My final color still life render

sketches from what feels like a million years ago but in real time was just 3 weeks before finals.

Time to work the hell out of my BFA sketchbook.
