Finals are over again!

Done with my last final! My viz dev class has been pretty grueling, but I've learned a lot. Here is my work for my final project, the treehouse. I'm not completely happy with it but I've certainly gained a lot from it.

This fall semester has been a challenge, but it had some great things too. I went to my second year of CTN with excellent friends, volunteered on a short thesis film by SHM's very own Dave Yee, and learned a lot about which direction I'm taking with my work. :)

Final Animation for the semester

What it says on the tin! A lot of things about 3D clicked for me on this assignment, I think I've learned to love the spline.

Animations!

My mid-semester animation shot! The assignment was done in groups, with members doing separate shots telling one story, and here's my half.

And a little thing from my animation physics class that turned out better than I expected

suddenly paint

Scrambling to use free time to practice!

Kitchen!

Its done! Well, for now. Here is my kitchen for the Gary Soto Project in 117a, from beginning stages to my final paintings.

This entire project has been a huge learning experience, and even if it was painful at times, I've gotten so much out of it.

Learned to paint for the past two weeks! All studies from Sargent or Waterhouse. Left to right, first on the top left and last on the bottom right, oil.

A semester of animation (kicked my ass)

Finals are done! Time to make one last blog post. This semester has been really amazing, and I've learned so much.

A small reel from my 3D animation class. Nothing special, just the last projects for the semester that finally got me to understand splines and how to animate in 3D.

These are my last tests in my 2D animation class, which has been one of the most challenging things to get through thusfar. Extremely rewarding, though.

Special thanks to Rosie, for letting me draw her so much.

And with that, it's time to rest my poor drawing hand. Have a most excellent summer. :)
